Founded 60 years ago in Florida, the Wellcraft brand of pleasure boats, a subsidiary of the French giant Bénéteau, has always distinguished itself with powerful and sporty units.

"Wellcraft boasts 60 years of passion and a 100% dynamic, sporty, adrenaline-focused DNA," explains Wellcraft brand manager Nick Harvey on ActuNautique Yachting Art, "Wellcraft boats are fast and powerful, with cruising speeds of over 40 knots. Built to take on the open ocean, they are ultra-safe and definitely rugged, designed for extreme thrills and high intensity outings."

Capitalizing on the sportiness and pleasure of sailing, Wellcraft is opening a new chapter in its history in 2022 by launching a new line of sportboats to complement its open hulls, the first model of which will be the Wellcraft 355.

Gianguido Girotti, Groupe Bénéteau's deputy general manager in charge of the product offering, explains this expansion: "Wellcraft is the brand of my dreams. It has strong values and heritage. We want to energize it with an innovative boat series that will perfectly match its DNA.

Known for its offshore sport fishing boats, Wellcraft will have a whole range of all-weather commuter boats! This new generation of adventure boats will offer a wide range of capabilities and features, meeting the most demanding requirements and challenges.

"We are creating a new generation of game changers in the world of adventure and performance yachts built for our ultra-passionate clients," explains Nick Harvey. "Boats that will allow them to go a little further and change the rules of the game. This new line of adventure boats is aimed at a new breed of boaters, those looking to get away from traditional boating, who want to see the world from a different perspective. Wellcraft 355, built to push the limits

With its three outboard engines totaling up to 1,050 hp and its incredible sea passage, the new Wellcraft 355 sets out to embody new values and a new focus on adventure. The launch of the Wellcraft 355 is scheduled for the 2022 Cannes Yachting Festival.
